Employment: Full Time

This is an outstanding opportunity for an experienced Project Director to join the True leader in the construction business in the Middle East. This is a key leadership position requiring someone with passion and energy to lead one of our prestigious Projects in KSA.

This rewarding role will require you to lead, manage and complete the project within budget and schedule whilst meeting the clients needs. The position will be reporting to Operations Director.

Job responsibilities include:

1. Responsible for managing the project from concept design to construction completion including authority approvals negotiation.
2. Prepares detailed construction cost estimates and documentation (e.g. PFR, PAR) for project funding authorization.
3. Responsible for interfacing with appropriate levels of management to obtain funding approval signatures.
4. Manages program of projects and project managers to ensure successful completion and coordination of all efforts.
5. Monitors progress, provides financial control and ensures quality of project.
6. Responsible for developing, mentoring, and supporting a team of project professionals.
7. Identify and evaluates alternative solutions to best meet program goals.
8. Manages client expectations and keep the client up to date on project status throughout process.
9. In certain circumstances, the Project Director will be responsible for managing special studies, initiatives or due diligence assignments.
10. Participate in or oversee the pre-qualification and bid evaluation process for consultants, contractors, and other outside vendors and selects vendors.

Requirements

Who we are looking for:

1. Minimum of 15 years of experience in the direct management of large scale projects with responsibility for site analysis, permitting and approvals, budget control, estimating, design and construction coordination, and project scheduling.
2. Bachelor/higher degree in engineering from a recognized university.
3. Ability to provide clear direction, coaching and mentoring project professionals.
4. Should be able to build professional and productive relationships with consultants, subcontractors and other stake holders.
5. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
6. Proven record in planning, organising and leading a diverse work force.
7. Manages to time frames, cost conscious, and achievement driven.
