Employment: Full Time

Project Director, responsible for managing and supervising project EPC activities is required by our client, an International EPC organisation based out of the UAE and offices across the MENA region.
Project Director will come onboard as part of an expansion programme following significant project wins across the GCC and as a result we are now hiring senior Engineering, Management and Director level positions in key leadership roles for critical Middle Eastern operations.

Located in the U.A.E, the Project Director responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Planning, co-ordination and control of all EPC activities of the Project.
Define project base plan considering major milestones and deliverables along with planning engineer
Identify , document & quantify likely risks in execution along with mitigation plan
Identify the resources, people, tools, materials and equipment needed for the execution of the project.
Managing all the relationships involved in the project including external ones - client, subcontractors, local authorities, institutions and internal ones - including HSE & QM, Asset Management Supply Chain etc.
Regular monitoring and communication of project changes
Adherence to the contractual clauses
Additional key points for co-ordination are:
Ensure all safety regulations , quality standards and relative procedures and practices are met
Verify and approve the purchase of materials and services used during the project
Review and approve the monthly Activity Schedules
Obtain project completion certificate from client after submitting documents to support the completion
Prepare closeout report

Requirements

Project Directors with an education in Mechanical or Construction Engineering and who have at least 25 years Oil & Gas/Hydrocarbon experience are required to have clearly defined knowledge of contract execution strategies, planning tools, statutory compliances and local country laws as well as a mandatory understanding of Industrial standards and specifications.

Candidates who have managed project budgets of in excess of $500M and have delivered into Kuwait will be looked at with a preference.
