Project Engineer - Electrical Estimation

Job description / Role

Our client, a manufacturer, supplier and service provider (commissioning) for electrical low-voltage switchgear panels and related components, is seeking to recruit qualified electrical engineer who will be handling estimation function. The main objective of the role is to monitor / control effective execution of a project that meets the customer requirements from the receipt of the order till the completion of the project. Accordingly, the job holder shall:
- Meet clients in order to discuss / understand comprehensively the technical points that related to job.
- Create accordingly offer / competitive quotations as per the project requirements and specifications.
- Coordinate with the design department to prepare shop drawings of the awarded projects as per project specification and consultant drawings.
- Coordinate with the clients as well as the production department in order to ensure a full compliance between the manufactured products and the given requirements
- Ensure the compliance between the client requirements and the offer submitted to them.
- Arrange for Consultants / Contractors inspections
- Ensure on-time delivery, and ensure the execution of the related payments.
- Attend on-site meetings related to final approval from the Local Authorities

Requirements

- Possess bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering
- Possess at least five years of work experience within LV Switchgear industry.
- Has in-depth knowledge bout Low & Medium Voltage Switchgears
- Fluent in English
- Computer literate, with good knowledge in related software
- Posse excellent negotiation & people skills
- Excellent communication skills with pleasant personality.
