Project Engineer - Fit out

Job description / Role

OCM Executives are currently working on behalf of a leading F&B Fit Out Contractor in Dubai. Positioned as one of the most reputable Contractors within their specialist sectors of Commercial and F&B, this company have built their reputation based on delivering high quality projects on time and to budget. Due to an influx of new projects they are actively looking for an experienced Project Engineer to join their established F&B execution team.

The role:
- Daily liaison and interface with site supervision consultant and contractor site execution teams
- Monitoring work progress and working closely in particular with Project Team Planner and Construction Manager
- Monitoring the works inspection and submittal process
- Support the reporting of work progress
- Support commercial team as necessary and as required
- Support the Site Supervision Consultant and able to show a can-do approach to work, deal with conflicts, supporting as required the submittal process
- Support the project teams closing quality issues/defects
- Support Project team as required with delivery of client services and maintain our standards
- Problem solving
- Required to work after hours/night shift and support as requested factory visits/tests including independent lab test witnessing

Requirements

- Must have previous UAE experience working with an established Fit Out contractor
- Must have previous experience working on F&B projects in the UAE (Restaurants & Bars)
- Ideally educated to degree level
- Should have a proven track record delivery high quality project on time and to budget
- Candidates should be based in the UAE and available for interview at short notice
