Project Engineer - Hotels/Hospitality

Job description / Role

We are urgently looking to recruit a Project Engineer to work for our client, a project management company based in Qatar.

Candidates must ensure to implement that the plan, project direction, design/site work is aligned with the 'company' projects department's vision.
- Execute the project in accordance with 'company' practices and Project procedures.
- Developing and implementing a project execution plan that meets with 'company'Holdings and Contract / TSA requirements.
- Provide leadership and commitment to the Project HSE and Quality plan.
- Keeping control of the project schedule to be within the objectives established for the Project to assure successful and profitable project completion.
- Directs and supervise and act as focal point for Engineering, Procurement, and Project services resources deployed on the project.
- Interface closely with the project management team to ensure client interests are being accommodated.
- Clearly define and communicate the project objectives and organization to the Project team.
- Provide report & feedback on data related to performance of work on a regular basis.
- Coordinate with the Director in developing project plan, budget and schedule.
- Provide technical assistance in each assigned projects.
- Review and recommend improvements to existing designs to improve operational performance.
- Maintain clear and complete documentations of assigned projects.
- Review plans, specifications & technical data; provide written reports.
- Respond to RFIs / OCSs and correspondences.
- Attend and provide feedback on project progress meetings.

Requirements

- Candidates must have 10-15 years of experience previously Hotel/Hospitality
- Pre-opening experience is a plus
- Bachelors Degree.
