The RoleThe RoleOur client is a leading International Project Management Consultancy who has a solid reputation for delivering excellent PMC services in the oil & gas construction sector. Due to the recent awarding of a large contract in Qatar, they are seeking a Project Engineer to join their team in Doha. This will be a family live-in position based onshore for an initial period of 3 years with the possibility of extension. Reporting to the Project Manager, the Project Engineer will be responsible for supervising a group of multi-discipline engineers to oversee the engineering and design of a large offshore facility. |
RequirementsRequirementsThis position requires someone with an Engineering Degree along with a minimum of 15 years experience in a similar role. Familiarity with managing engineers and designers for the development of project specifications, calculations, design documents, drawings, system studies, and construction drawings is a must. The ability to provide direction and leadership within a project environment , communicate effectively with all levels, and ensure work is executed in accordance with approved processes is required. Offshore experience is mandatory for this role. |
