Job description / Role
As a Project Engineer you will be responsible for both the quality of deliverables and effective execution of project assignments. Essentially by coordinating various technical activities and accepted engineering practices through making sure that various parts are progressing and the project works as a whole.
Key Responsibilities:
Plans, schedules, conducts and coordinates assigned engineering work; monitor for compliance to applicable codes and adheres to project budget and schedules.
Responsible for ensuring all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.
Accounting for engineering tasks and developing project–specific procedures for the work to be carried out and satisfying contract requirements.
Interpreting client’s requirements; identifying and addressing design parameters and engineering problems and initiating appropriate corrective actions.
Ensuring all justification for contractual variations during projects are maintained to support subsequent commercial claims.
Evaluating, organizing, and prioritizing work within the overall project schedule.
Taking responsibility for a team of engineers and ensure effective engineering and client communication.
Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering with minimum 5 years experience in roads and Infrastructure.
Good Leadership skills.
The ability to analyze large amount of technical data and propose solutions.
Confident decision making ability.
Project management skills.
