The RoleThe RoleInternational Shipyard Operator Tax Free Salary package circa US$55,000 + family ticket + family medical Based in Dubai, UAE A challenging opportunity now exists with a major shipyard operator. They are currently seeking to hire an experienced Project Engineer (Shipyards). The role is based in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for the engineering analysis of projects including planning, design and execution. Responsibilities: Monitor work progress at site and prepare progress reports Liaise with clients, subcontractors and government authorities to ensure all work is carried out in accordance with project drawings and specifications Ensure Safety, Health and Environment issues at work site are observed Prepare engineering analysis of projects Maintain the Inspection and Test Plan records according to applicable standards Control of working man hours; coordinate with invoicers |
RequirementsRequirements Graduate in Naval Architecture/ Marine Engineering or equivalent Preferably a Chief Engineer Marine/ Naval Architect Must have at least 3years relevant project experience in a large shipyard or repair yard with conversion facilities Good English communication skills |
