The RoleThe RoleParsons is providing services to assist a client in developing world class universities in Abu Dhabi. The Project Engineer is a high level position assigned to a specific university campus of multiple buildings. The Project Engineer: Will integrate the various engineering, scheduling, procurement, construction, and start-up aspects of a designated university. May manage a subtask of a larger project or study in accordance with contractual obligations. Be responsible for the technical excellence of the engineering functions of the project including coordination of technical disciplines, procurement of materials and equipment, and construction planning assistance. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful candidate will fulfill the following requirements: * At least 12 years experience in project engineering or construction management of buildings from initial earthworks stage to finishing and completion * Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering or construction management. * Proven ability to work in a construction environment and provide effective field-level leadership to the project to get the work done safely, on time, within budget and according to the owner’s quality requirements. * Experience on educational facility buildings would be an advantage. |
