Project Engineer

Job description / Role

Overall Responsibilities:

Projects
Prepare and Maintain archive for technical specifications and openings.
Coordination with all departments (Commercial, Assets, Finance, Legal, Security, DOSI etc) for the complete execution of the projects from inspection to completion.
Analyze building codes, by-laws, space and site requirements, and other technical documents and reports to determine their effect on designs.
Coordinate structural, electrical and mechanical designs.
Preparation and/or analysis of Measurements for ongoing projects and for budgeting projects.
Coordinate the work of draftspersons, technicians, and technologists on construction projects.
Check dimensions and materials specs to be used.
Prepare, obtain and assemble design standards and benchmarking data and maintain records.
Proposes new procedures, technologies and specifications for the improvement of Cost - Quality Time relationship in projects.

Financial
Gathers Market and Project data for the Budgeting processes of new projects.
Analyses the benchmarking data of the department and proposes steps for improvement.

Other Projects
Takes part in any special projects that the organization and the management sets in accordance with his abilities and expertise.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering field.
Min 5 years experience in construction site management position or min of 2 years on same field of activity.
Strong knowledge of CAD and MS Project.
Experience in MS Office software.
Able to communicate with all levels of employees.
Fluent English.
Russian will be preferred as second language.
Preferably an Arabic speaker.
