The RoleThe RoleProject Engineer to be based in Baghdad International Airport (BIAP), Iraq to implement/support various Aeronautical Projects. This permanent full-time position will report directly to the Regional Manager, Serco technology Solutions in UAE. Key Accountabilities: • Installation, Configuration, Commissioning & Maintenance of various Aeronautical Systems • Should be capable of troubleshooting and identifying the problem and fixing the bug with the assistance of principals / supplier / manufacturer. • To do periodical Software/Hardware Upgrade as and when required. • Should be capable of segregating the problem with the Hardware or Software. • To co-ordinate and liaise with sub-contractors/suppliers for successful implementation of projects and to attend site meetings with the consultants/operators/client whenever required. • Ensure maintenance of technical documentation of all operating and maintenance procedures. • Effectively manage customer relationships. • Hands-on technical work. • Ensuring cost budgets pertaining to project. |
RequirementsRequirementsQualifications and Experience: • Graduate Degree in Engineering with specialisation in Electronics & Telecommunication/ Electrical & electronics / Aeronautical systems. • Expertise in Electronics Engineering – Computers / Networking & Communication / Data Base / Airport Special Systems • 3 – 5 years of Field experience in the relevant field Industry. Experience in large Airports dealing in Aeronautical systems like Tower Simulators, Metrological Systems, NAVAIDS, ATC Tower Equipment will be an added advantage. • Proven customer management & Interaction skills. • Motivated & strong-willed. • Ability to communicate effectively in English both verbally and in writing. Ability to communicate in Arabic will be an added advantage. • Should be a Team member. • Organized with excellent problem-solving skills. • Ability to understand and grasp emerging trends in technology. |
