Project Financial Controller

A world leading company in EPC projects within the energy sector is currently looking for a Project Financial Controller that will be based in the U.A.E. responsible for various projects across the region.

Our client is a well-known organisation in oil and gas sector that provides infrastructure services for offshore, onshore and subsea construction. Well known for executing large complex projects with more than 40 years in the market and continue to expand across the globe

As the Project Financial Controller you will be working with the team of 5 and responsible for various projects. You will be directly reporting to the CFO for Middle East ensuring compliance with financial controls over the projects and adherence to companys standards. You will have direct involvement in the projects with regards to procurement, contracts, cost controlling and revenue recognition.

Requirements

To be considered for the role, you must have long-term project contracting exposure in oil and gas or a heavy construction/engineering environment. You will be a commercially minded finance professional overseeing related business risks and mitigation plans.

Exposure Required:
- 5 to 6 years experience in EPC projects (short term and long term)
- Strong Project Accounting exposure
- Exposed in leading a team in a multicultural environment
- Worked within Oil & Gas or Heavy Construction/Engineering
