Project Manager - 6 Month Maternity Cover

Job description / Role

Our client is a leading, international, learning and development company. They are looking for an experienced Project Manager with education or publishing sector experience to deliver high quality regional learning resources across a number of print and digital platforms.

Role:
- To project manage the development of the product from draft proposal stage through to release
- To brief and project manage freelancers and the in-house Editor
- Project manage both print and digital
- Devise and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, contracts and printing orders
- Ensure timely delivery of product to given specs and budgets as per project plan
- Day-to-day management of writers, editors, instructional designers, digital content managers, graphic/multimedia designers & technical support
- Maintain a strong commitment to detail.

Requirements

- English native speaker
- Working knowledge of educational product development, including editorial and production processes
- Sound understanding of technology
- Educated to degree level
- Product management / publishing qualifications
- Project management
