The RoleThe RoleSUMMARY OF ROLE: •Technical review of Projects, Start Up and Commissioning and Hand Over to the client of Automatic and Power Control Systems in EMEA SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: •Participate in, coordinate and integrate with the activities of the Engineering Project Team. Team may consist of ASCO project engineers, vendors, suppliers or customer personnel. •Assist and monitor project progress, schedule and team actions to successfully achieve established budgetary and contractual targets. •Serve as a customer contact for project technical scope, provie commercial submittals •Report, updates and make recommendations regarding the nature and status of work. •Play main role for detail functional design, Ovation configuration design, BOM and documentation approval •Define standard project definition and make sure about the utilization of these standards •Assist in ATS and PCS FAT, for customer approval and system handover process •Define and assist in the preparation of project related commercial documents. •Prepare orders / contracts / protocols related with vendors and suppliers. •Perform engineering analysis and propose solutions to complex problems which are not well defined. •Play an integrate role in meeting projects financial objectives. •Become as knowledgeable as possible on ASCO product, reviewing manuals, participating in training programs, and through individual effort and initiative. •Assist in investigation and resolution of system related customer technical complaints. Resolve and/or recommend solutions to these complaints. •Provide assistance to field engineering and field installation personnel during the site start up and commissioning phase, both remotely from office and on customer site •Follow guidelines as established in Quality Manuals. •Maintain a high degree of technical expertise and recognition within the business unit •Conduct the business with balanced risk while strictly observing the Emerson Business Ethics. |
RequirementsRequirements•Degree qualified in Electrical Engineering •Minimum 5 years experience in Power Control Systems •Must be able to generate immediate credibility with customer, suppliers and ASCO engineering communities •Willing to travel for more than 50% of the time; prepared to travel whenever necessary and on short notice •Proficient in MS Office Applications |
