Project Manager - Al Futtaim Engineering - UAE National

Job description / Role

- Prepare and implement the Project Program
- Assessing team members and allocating suitable work to them based on their capabilities
- Advise team members on next steps of the project according to its status
- Update programs and ensure adherence by communicating updates to all project sections
- Review and verify technical submittals
- Ensure that all information related to technical drawings, mechanical equipment lists, construction equipment lists, technical specifications are updated and readily available
- Approve drafts of drawing specifications related to the project
- Assess, forecast, and plan for manpower requirements
- Procure and store required material
- Implement Health and Safety plan throughout the site
- Coordinate for efficient processes between all teams involved in the project
- Provide motivation and skill-based training for employees

Requirements

- A Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
- 10 plus years of experience in Contracting MEP Project
- Communication skills
- Presentation of logical arguments and reasoning analysis
- Leadership skills
- Stress-management ability
- Execution of building services as a contractor like power, lighting, MV, LV, cables routing & termination, Earthing, Electrical Panels, control systems, low current implementation, testing & commissioning, etc. capable of supervising detailed engineering works, coordinated shop drawings, technical submittals, liaison with consultants, coordinate with various disciplines and site supervision
