Job description / Role
CDM Smith has been selected as the Project Manager and Construction Supervisor for this residential development project in Dubai, which consists of a multi-phase, themed residential development with a well-known Dubai-based developer. These signature villas around a golf course will be the most prestigious around the area and when completed will be one of the unique gated community residences in Dubai.
Job Responsibilities:
- Reports to the Construction Manager on all issue related to the delivery of CDM Smith services.
- Overall manages and direct the CDM Smith team under his management.
- Ensures that the team is working, exclusively, within contractual boundaries. - Ensures that the team pro-actively manages the overall construction supervision schedule (constrained within the project time frame).
- Monitors and comments on the performance of the Consultant and Contractor.
- Delivers CDM Smith Services per the agreement.
- Abides by CDM Smiths quality management program (QMP).
- Regular and accurate (progress and financial) reporting to the Client and CDM Smith.
Requirements
- Available to join immediately.
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
- At least fifteen (15) years professional experience, in various assignments including site supervision and construction management.
- Must have experience with building works including MEP Prior experience is project management is an advantage
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
- Experience in the UAE or the Middle East preferred.
