Employment: Full Time

As the Project Manager - B2B you will be playing a key role in managing the delivery of a number of leading strategic programmes and projects for the B2B division, demanding a hands on project management style, managing the detail whilst at the same time maintain focus on delivering against the bigger picture, managing and driving project, operational and governance related activities, through the development and management of the end to end project delivery plans, ensuring that the key deliverables, dependencies risks and issues are clearly articulated and managed to support the successful delivery of the projects.

Core Responsibilities:
- Your main tasks and responsibilities will be obtaining agreement with sponsors, governance bodies or project owners on the project scope and terms of reference, finalising the macro plan of activities that an B2B needs to do to successfully deliver the programme objectives and ensuring that effective governance is created with clarity of roles and responsibilities agreed.
- You will be liaising with the central PMO to ensure the overall direction, making recommendations for fitness, support proposals and launch dates to launch and escalate to senior management where required, ensuring key risks are identified and escalated to appropriate management levels to ensure effective management, playing a team role with other project/programme managers in sharing best practice and experience, ensuring close-down activities inform and improve future practices / projects.

Responsibilities shall also include the following:
- Accountable for all delivery aspects on an end to end, cross-functional project model.
- Creation of material for project meetings, project definition documents, issues & risk registers, action logs, meeting minutes and project plans.
- Producing and owning the mandated documentation
- Planing, monitoring, reporting and controlling the project Macro Plan.
- Undertaking effective documentation, communication and escalation.
- Actively identify and manage all stakeholder.
- Maintaining accurate Financial Control.
- Effecting a managed project closedown process with lessons learnt documented.
- Demonstrate experience in a range of Programme and Project Management tools and formal techniques.
- Anticipate risk to, for example, deliverables, timescales or budget, and initiate countermeasures in time to correct variance.
- Developing the library of templates and examples for use within the programme management team.
- Keeping abreast of and contribute to the continuing development of Vodafones project management methodology.
- Programme plans, roadmaps and milestones.
- Programme risks and issues log
- Operational review meeting agendas, minutes and action plan tracking
- Operational reports
- Management briefing packs and reports, e.g. monthly operational reviews, KPI packs.
- Planning milestones met.

Requirements

The role requires an experienced project manager with business and financial, with the capability to operate internationally, particular characteristics are, you should have a minimum of 6 years working experience with 3 years project and programme management experience and knowledge of industry standard methodologies, 2 years experience in working in international or matrix environment proffered and 3 years significant experience in telecom or IT markets with degree level qualification or MBA, prince 2 qualified preferred

- Exceptional communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, hence able to communicate effectively with all levels in the organisation.
- Has excellent presentation and report writing skills.
- The ability to think strategically and work/perform well under pressure in particular in meeting the strictest deadlines.
