Project Manager - Civil Engineering

Job description / Role

Our client is a Middle Eastern provider of EPC services for Control, Instrumentation and Automation systems for the Oil & Gas and Industrial sectors.

They are looking for a Project Manager with Civil Engineering experience, to support construction works on related Oil & Gas projects.

Responsibilities:
- Supervise the contractor for the civil works of the project
- Provide professional technical inputs (on civil engineering) to the client and/or contractor at site
- Implement testing procedures as required and prepare, organize, and maintain inspection data and forms
- Review and prepare documents/drawings related to the civil works aspect of the project
- Perform routine administration duties and paperwork connected with the civil works in coordination with the contractor and report the same to the overall Project Manager
- Provide technical support for the estimation engineers on any civil related work

Requirements

- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- At least 8 years experience in building projects including significant relevant experience on large constructions projects within oil & gas
- Good experience in infrastructure civil works especially in trench works, cable laying, road crossings, water proofing of concrete structure and concrete works
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Willing to be deputed to site whenever required (offshore and onshore)
