Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

Objective: Two key missions:
- Project Management for a number of site development projects according to HSE policies and Air Liquide Standards. In close and regular contact with the engineering consulting firms and the owner representative (sales and marketing), he/she is in charge leading the project definition, planning and execution within the agreed budget and schedule. He/she has to provide a high level of quality of service to internal and external customers within a designed scope and budget.
- Active contribution to one of the key project consisting is reviewing and rationalizing exiting operating processes in view of improving process effectiveness. This will involve the formalization of processes and change management to implement new/improved processes in close coordination with the various stakeholders.

Main responsibilities: Key Missions
1. Project Management Various Site Development Projects.
lead the planning and implementation of the projects
Work with project stakeholders to facilitate the definition of project scope, goals and deliverables. Ensure proper validation of the projects specifications by all stakeholders. Ensure compliance with Air Liquide standards and applicable regulations.
Comply with internal project validation gates.
develop full scale project plans (including project schedule, key milestones, etc..) and comm
coordination with project stakeholders including consultants and other Air Liquide departments
Lead the development and award of contracts to third parties involved as per Air Liquide Standards.
ensure project delivery within agreed budget and schedule
track project deliverables and progress
Manage purchase orders and purchase requests for the project as per Air Liquide standard
safety and quality assurance and in particular during construction phase
constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
Day to day management of consultant and contractors
Ensure regular project review meeting involving key stakeholders
present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
project evaluations and assessment of results
Knows and respects all the group procedures and technical standards according to IMS.
Assists the quality owner in the learning process of ISO norms and standards.
Knows and respects the country regulation norms.
2. Operating Process Rationalization Project
Actively contribute to the review of operating processes in view of enhancing effectiveness of operations
Actively contribute to the formalization of operating procedure
Actively contribute to the implementation of process change

Reporting to: DGRH Middle East, Africa and India Industrial Director
Subordinates: None
Number required: 1
Duration: Permanent
Desired start date: 01/09/2014
Probation: 3 months
Working hours: Sun-Thursday 9am-6pm

Requirements

Expected background and interpersonal skills
Engineer by training.
Previous experience in construction project management.
Previous experience in Process Re-engineering.
Previous experience in project management within the Industrial Gas business is a plus.
Previous experience in Change Management is a plus.
