Project Manager / Director

ICDS Recruitment are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager for a client in Saudi Arabia
Prime Objective: To monitor projects onsite and liaise with the client to ensure that they are up to date with current issues and are satisfied. Ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to the highest industry standards. Managing the clients’ expectations whilst maintain commercial control at all stages of the project lifecycle.
Key Tasks:
•Overall management of the project and ensuring our Operations and Design teams deliver.
•Liaise, regularly with the client in all regards to ensure they are satisfied and aware of all current issues
•Manage, in conjunction with the Project Quantity Surveyor, all commercial aspects of the project
•Strong commercial awareness and contracts administration experience
•Liaise with the Procurement Team regarding project materials required
•Supervise and manage the shop drawing process
•Manage and coordinate all sub-contractors and specialist teams
•Drive out difficult decisions with the client
•Coordinate with Design, ensuring a flow of information
•Set deadlines with Operations, Design and the client for resolving issues
•High level program monitoring
•Manage all contractual correspondence
Requirements
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
•Professionally qualified in Project Management, Engineering or Construction Management
•Minimum of 5 years relevant project/construction experience at a senior level
•Must be able to demonstrate a proven track record of delivering complex fit out and construction projects in either a Project Manager or Project Director role
•High-end Fit Out and Design Management experience
•Hi Rise ot Tower experience
•A good understanding of contracts and commercial aspects
•Exceptional Client Management skills with knowledge of how to create work plans, monitor team production schedules and demonstrate negotiation expertise
Preferable Skills and Qualifications:
•Have an operational understanding of the FIDIC conditions of contract
•General understanding of the MEP integration with the interior Fit Out process
