Job description / Role
Responsibilities & Duties:
• Responsible for project coordination to achieve delivery within contractual date and within budgeted cost for one or more projects from award of contracts to job close out including kick off meeting.
Major responsibilities include:
• Review of Job package of the individual’s jobs assigned to project manager.
• Planning of the project activities including mile stone chart , project master schedule and cash flow plan of the assigned project.
• Monitoring & review of the job progress of the assigned project
• Monitoring & review of the cost overrun with respect to budget and initiate corrective actions for minimizing cost overrun with information to management.
• Communication with client / customer for facilitating data / document transfer, approvals, progress reports & expediting meetings, arranging kick off meetings, etc. as well as changed scope of work with respect to contracts for the assigned project.
• Monitoring and recording all payments made by client & initiating request for Invoice.
• Planning for Manpower and other resource requirement for the assigned projects
Requirements
The job holder should be:
• Qualified Mechanical Engineer
• Qualified Project Manager
• Having minimum of 12 years work experience within EPC construction field
• Having experience in the construction of major projects within oil & gas industry such as: Pipelines Projects, Petrochemicals Projects, Refineries Projects etc……
• Working with EPC contractor as project manager
• GCC work experience is a must
• In depth knowledge in Project Planning, Primavera etc.
• Having excellent people management
• Self driven, result oriented with clear focus on process coordination for achieving business.
• Excellent client relationship management
