Project Manager – EPC Contracts
Location: Fujairah

Our client a leading Oil and Gas Company is looking to recruit a Project Manager – EPC Contracts. The position will report to the Head of Projects.
Key Result Areas

•Prepares project execution plan, list of document schedules, schedule and budget.
•Coordinates with clients /consultants to get the approval of documents..
•Prepares necessary purchase /subcontractor requisition for the project.
•Coordinates with subcontractors /vendors for implementation of Project.
•Monitors Project progress with respect to accepted plan.
•Reviews and ensures timely submission of the various reports to client and MIS reports.
•Attends progress review meeting with client.
•Ensures execution of the project ;
•Within Budget
•Within time
•In accordance with the client specification and quality workmanship
•Without any loss time injury and in line with the accepted EHS norms
•In compliance to the local and international laws.
•Resolves all the issues with the client and subcontractors.
•Coordinates project plan with other contractors at site.
•Ensures effective utilization of resources.

Requirements

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

A mechanical engineer with 5- 10 years experience in EPC Projects of which at least 2 years as Project Manager/Senior Project Engineer in contracting company for Oil and Gas projects/Power projects for EPC contracts in tanks, piping , vessels etc.,. Must have in depth knowledge of relevant ASME, API, BS and other international codes.

Good communication and leadership skills. Knowledge of basic Office automation products (MS XL, Word) and MS Project planning hands on experience is essential. Should be able to resolve technical and commercial issues. Knowledge of contract risk management shall be an added advantage.
