Project Manager – Environment

Job description / Role

The role exists to offer support to colleagues, to provide knowledge and expertise in the assessment and management environmental issues and to help in the company objective of expanding environmental services. It will require both project management and technical EIA skills and will predominantly involve work on large multidisciplinary projects.

Essential requirements of the post are:
• Experience of undertaking EIA/ESIA/ESHIAs in a variety of sectors, in particular offshore, oil and gas and infrastructure.
• Considerable knowledge of environmental assessment techniques.
• Excellent project management and financial management skills required.
• Experience of managing projects in a consultancy environment.
• Good first and second degree in a related subject and preferably in Environmental Impact Assessment.

Requirements

In order to be successful in your application you must have proven experience working in the consulting industry and within Environmental and Sustainability sector. Your responsibilities will include supervising less experienced team members, providing technical input, dealing directly with clients, producing project documents, project screening, scoping and option assessment studies including participation in client formal reviews and identifying and generating additional commercial opportunities.
