Job description / Role
You will lead all Faade packages on this major stadium project at site. You will represent the client to ensure the smooth running and successful completion of the project against the scheduled timelines. This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role on a major fast track stadium project.
Key Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Oversee the scheduling of the Facade packages in logical steps and budget time required to meet deadlines.
- Manage on-site resource ensuring direction of the Contractors team as per the project schedule.
- Prepare contracts and negotiate revisions, changes and additions to contractual agreements with architects, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.
- Study job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods.
- Select, contract, and oversee workers who complete specific pieces of the project.
- Procure supplies and materials to complete construction projects.
- Prepare and submit budget estimates and progress and cost tracking reports.
- Develop and implement quality control programs.
- Take actions to deal with the results of delays at construction site.
- Liaise with supervisory personnel, owners, contractors, and design professionals to discuss and resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems
- Investigate damage, accidents, or delays at construction sites, to ensure that proper procedures are being carried out.
Requirements
- Degree Qualified.
- Minimum 10 years post graduate experience.
- Experience on sports facility projects advantageous.
- Experience on fast track programs preferred.
- Stable track record based on projects from inception to completion.
- Excellent Communication skills.
- Flexible in approach to work with ability to work long hours at remote site locations.
