Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

* Strong Project Management skills with proven delivery skills and experience in leading large multi dimensional and/or country/regulatory projects.
* Good domain knowledge of SCB core systems (CB, FM or Wholesale banking) - how these systems works, interfaces so as to to understand the impact of changes proposed for various projects, identify inter-dependencies and effectively communicate the testing requirements
* Experience in managing technology/IT projects
* Experience in managing the system development teams - coordinating with various technology teams to align technology timelines and testing requirements and effectively negotiate and work with the teams to meet business requirements and schedules
* Understand business requirements and leads proposal efforts (PAR, TT etc) including completing project scoping and works with various business stakeholders to ensure the BRD and FS meets the business requirements (technical as well as non-technical)
* Track and report project progress and changes to project scope, budget and implementation schedule.
* Identifying project risks and issues; and maintaining issues and risks registers.
* Coordinates and manages project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements. Identifies resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
* Reviews deliverables prepared by respective project teams and provide qualitative differentiating inputs.
* Effectively applies GTO methodology and enforces project standards.
* Conducts regular engagement reviews with stakeholders and quality assurance procedures.
* Ensures project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
* Ensures that projects are delivered in line with allocated budget, agreed standards and implementation benefits.
* Good communication skills - written and verbal.
* Possesses general understanding in the areas of process, risk, service and system design.
* Facilitates team and stakeholder meetings effectively(PWC, PSC, regulatory meetings) and keep them informed of changes within the organization and external environment.
* Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion. Strong ability to communicate sensitive information tactfully to stakeholders.
* Experience to manage project financials, forecast, workwise.
* Conduct post implementation reviews, as required.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and or drive different teams across the region and Group to deliver the projects
* Ability to closely work with the CIOs/Ops Heads of the region to understand and monitor the various systems/operations projects and suggest areas for improvement in internal systems/processes along with possible solutions.

* Due to challenges around team size, must be capable of working with extended team within GTO and business to effectively deliver projects. Look at new and innovative ways to deliver projects synergising the capabilities we have within the region and Group
* Ability to stretch and manage multiple activities in case of conflicting priorities
