The project coordinator is responsible for developing, planning, coordinating and implementing all tasks that relates to projects. This role manages engagements from all departments and stakeholders internally and externally in order to ensure the project is delivered on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards.
This role will support the development, improvement and implementation of various clinical and non-clinical processes. This position reports to the AED of Business Development. Additionally, this position will work closely with the Project Management Office to support process improvement activities related to Women's and Infant's Hospital in Medical City. The section below lists the key duties for this role:
-Facilitate discussions with various stakeholders including clinical and business experts to accurately capture 'as-is' and 'to-be' descriptions of clinical and non-clinical processes.
-Document both clinical and technical requirements to ensure process changes meet the needs of patients and hospital staff. Additionally, ensure process requirements align with regulatory, policy and strategic objectives of the Corporation.
-Develop 'future-state' processes that efficiently and effectively integrate resources, technology, and information. Processes should focus on the patient and ultimately provide services that are safe, reliable and effective (i.e. processes that result in improved patient outcomes). Processes should be efficient and cost effective.
-Perform gap assessments between current and future states. Develop transition plans to ensure process changes occur in an organized, timely and efficient manner.
-Develop both quantitative and qualitative measures to show efficacy of change.
-Recommend changes based on data, analysis and statistical principles.
-Work with various members of the project team (including administrators, project managers, trainers and technical staff) to ensure deliverables are completed on time, within budget and to specification.
-Assess processes utilizing a variety of tools (e.g. simulation, statistical quality control, time-studies, etc.)
-Collect and analyze data from various sources (e.g. clinical information systems, financial systems, coding databases).
-Clearly communicate recommendations at all levels of management.

Educational Qualifications & Certificates
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in science, management, the humanities or equivalent, or 2-
3 year Diploma in Business Administration.
Preferred Education: Master's Degree in science, management, the humanities or equivalent.
Required certification/licensure: N/A
Experience
Minimum Experience: 3 years' experience in project management.
Preferred Experience: A track record of delivering significant improvement programs at a country or
regional level in a healthcare environment.
Skills
Language Skills: English essential / Arabic preferred
Computer Skills: Expert level skills in MS Office, and MS Project.
