Job description / Role
Our client provides sales, marketing and professional services focusing on ERP service to the healthcare sector. They are currently recruiting a Project Manager who will be responsible for leading efficient and effective implementation of diverse company projects, while applying best business practices. To ensure successful delivery of projects to customers while maintaining a cost effective approach in the agreed time frame.Conduct and coordinate financial, product, and related research to support strategic and business planning within various departments. Add value by acting as a facilitator in business risk management and carrying out value for money reviews, thereby assisting the management in the effective discharge of their projects. Provide recommendations and proposals to support the expansion plans of the projects, where applicable. Provide support to all internal and external related parties.
Controls all issues, and effectively coordinates and supports the development and implementation of the project to ensure proper installations are as per client specifications and requirements. Ensure the success of client’s strategic software initiatives throughout the project’s lifecycle. Motivate team members to excel within a demanding and dynamic business environment Prepare work programs and budgets to implement the approved project methodology and approach. Drive results in line with project’s time, cost and scope, encompassed in milestones. Develop, gain approval for, and implement manpower plans that ensure cost-effective and optimum deployment of resources that support and drive projects service delivery. Plan, direct and manage activities of assigned personnel. Delegate assignments and provide counseling and guidance to help subordinates enhance work performance. Recruit, train, motivate and develop reporting staff to ensure that the department has the necessary skill base.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related field. A minimum of 5 years experience in technical software environment, of which 3 years are in management roles. Fluent in written and spoken English and Arabic. Strong proven project management and ability to manage multiple projects. Solid knowledge of software applications delivered. Ability to act as internal consultant to the business units supported. Ability to think and communicate conceptually and strategically and develop workable and effective roadmaps to achieve agreed strategies. Has practice in one of the software industry’s best development methods (e.g. MSF, IBM, XP) is a plus. Up-to-date knowledge of latest software development technologies. Skill in the use of spreadsheets, relational database, and word processing software’s. Strong presentation skills, consultative and advisory skills, knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques.
