Job description / Role
Our client is world class hospitality organisation and we are recruiting for a Project Manager to oversee the entire hotel construction, refurbishments and renovation projects from developing the plans to completion ensuring that all projects are running cost effectively and within budget and on schedule for completion.
Responsibilities:
- Management of the plans for hotel design, construction, refurbishments and renovations
- Negotiation with contractors and consultants related to architectural and interior design ensuring that all projects are within budget and completed on time
- Conducting site visits for planning, design, redesign and progress reviews
- Liaising with consultants, contractors, franchise partners, municipality representatives and architects for technical bidding and bid qualification
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree related to construction or design
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate is essential
- 7 - 10 years experience in construction or project management within hospitality / hotel construction including new construction, renovation and refurbishment
- Proven experience of project management from pre construction to completion within the hospitality industry
- Budget forecasting and cost control
- Excellent project document experience
- Experience of working on hotel projects within the GCC, preferably within Qatar
- Knowledge of Qatar construction laws is essential
Candidate Profile
- Aged between 30 40 years
- Fluency in English is essential
