The Role

The Role:
The Project Manager leads a project team, and/or nominated individuals from merchandising, operations, warehouse, finance, HR, Audit or other functions to deliver an integrated business system solution and implement it for Retail in a timely and cost effective manner.

The Project Manager will likely be involved in projects related to Oracle Financials implementation or Oracle Payroll, HRMS projects, projects related to Manhattan Merchandise Planning the retail fashion industry, projects related to Cognos business planning in retail industry, projects related to Manhattan warehouse management systems and projects related to GOLD retail solution implementation.

Responsibilities:
* Develop and manage implementation of project communication strategies.
* Develop and coordinate training and learning strategies.
* Manage project progress, time and cost. Manage and facilitate project teams to achieve their assigned tasks, conduct regular project reviews and circulate meetings.
* Identify resources and set timescales, hardware, software and external services required for delivery.
* Specify in detail the work to be done and identify the boundaries and deliverables of each sub-project. Identify the correct people and resources required to achieve the project objectives.

Requirements


Requirements

* Graduate in computer science or equivalent
* 5 years experience in IT Project Management, ideally Retail
* Minimum 3 years experience in managing projects to delivery/implementation
* Project Management methodology, tools and documentation
* Excellent written and verbal communication
