Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

•The Project Manager will be responsible for the successful delivery of projects across the bank in coordination with relevant project stakeholders.
Project Management Office Duties:
•Prepare Project Charter, Project Plan, and deploy project team structure with cross functional team members
•Manage projects within scope time and cost limitations approved by project steering committee
•Hold Project team meetings in timely matter, prepare minutes of meetings and progress status reports
•Manage Projects’ issues and risks logs and escalate as appropriate to EPMO Management.
•Maintain projects records and related documents in the Project management system deployed by EPMO with up to date accurate information
•Follow best practice project management methodology as approved by EPMO Head
•To ensure that there is a good sign off for implemented projects and that they are handed over to the business owner on completion.
•Ensure effective and collaborative communication across stakeholders of the project, providing a documented responsibilities matrix.

Other tasks and Duties:
•To adhere to the bank policies and procedures.
•To be responsible for personal learning and development
•To administrate and organise own work to ensure that it is accurate and meets quality targets, reasonable deadlines and reporting requirements.
•To undertake any other tasks, duties or projects which may arise from time to time which are commensurate with the general level of this post and as directed by the Head of EPMO.

Accountability
•Responsible for the effective management of project budgets and accountable to projects sponsors for the control of project expenditure.
•Responsible and accountable for the timely and relevant reporting of project progress, accountable to the project steering committee, as appropriate.
•Responsible for identifying cross divisions and cross project dependencies, risks and activities.
•Responsible for ensuring that projects are properly planned, communicated and progressed throughout the project lifecycle.
Additional Responsibilities
•As assigned by Head of the Department

Independence of Operation
•Works within the scope of authority and responsibility entrusted by EPMO Head. Seeks views and approvals on areas that are out of the scope of the positions authority. Senior Project Manager consults with Head of EPMO on major/critical tasks after the implications have been identified.

Requirements

•Omani National Required
•The ideal candidate should be a Degree holder with relevant / professional experience in Project Management or related field.
•Be responsible for the successful delivery of projects across the bank in coordination with relevant project stakeholders.
•Possessing enough Knowledge of current project management tools and techniques
•Ability to perform/clarify complex information clearly and simply
•Ability to see the big picture and keep focus on company strategy
•Ability to work independently and meet the deadline and target to the related field
•Must possess effective communication and listening skills with strong oral and written presentation skills.
•Should be self-motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
