Project Manager – Infrastructure Delivery Systems

My client is a leading IT Services company based in Doha. They are currently seeking an experience IT Infrastructure Project Manager for a number of project initiatives across Qatar. Project Manager - Infrastructure Delivery Systems is responsible for managing one or many projects or initiatives, depending on scope and complexity, to deliver the agreed project outcomes and objectives within the agreed scope, quality, effort, resources, risks, timeframe, contractual framework and customer satisfaction. Candidates should have international experience in large scale public sector systems integration programs. The offers a tax free salary + generous benefits.

Requirements

Procurement
Providing project management on the completion of the requirements development, selection, procurement and solution delivery for the following areas:
• IT Service Management for the implementation phase and the hospital operation
• Provision of infrastructure (hardware and software) for the total IT solution
• Hosting and support of the technical environment and provision of the necessary tools and organization for the implementation and operation phases
• Disaster recovery and business continuity of the operations phase
• IT devices for the operation phase
• Management consultancy for the validation of the joint venture submittals
Program Management
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager Technical Operations:
• Manage the development, planning and implementation of the technical Operations projects within the Technical Operations programme to deliver effective IR solutions for the implementation of the IT systems and provision of services for the h hospital operations
• Implement program and project management methods and practices, in accordance with the IMPO program ad project management standards, across the Technical Operations program
• Manage all program management reporting including risk, issues and change control in accordance with the Information Management Project Office (IMPO) standards
• Participate in and support the implementation of the IMPO program and project management methodologies and practices.
• Management of all strategic relationships within the Technical Operation program
• Effective vendor management for all contracts within the Technical Operations program

Quality Management
• Implement the IMPO quality management framework across the Technical Operations Program
• Provide leadership and management of quality improvement initiatives across the IMPO

Resource Management
Effectively manage all resources allocated to the Technical Operations projects within the assigned projects including implementing staff performance management program, coaching and mentoring Technical Operations program staff for excellent performance management.
- Extensive experience of technical systems and Infrastructure delivery project management
- Extensive knowledge of one or more technical subjects areas, e.g. Network engineering, system engineering etc.
- Experience in implementing technical systems and infrastructure projects
