Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

The post holder will be responsible for the strategic management and delivery of a large scale Stadium project in a consultancy role from inception to completion with a particular focus on management of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing installations (MEP).

- Responsible for delivering and managing service excellence in project management solutions delivering positive outcomes for our clients, providing leadership and coaching to Project Managers, and innovation of service and knowledge with a particular focus on MEP issues.
- Deliver projects with the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the business case/client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
- Provide support to the Team Leader / Service Leaders in Client interface, and manage multi-disciplinary project teams in delivering large sized projects, and professional assignments with a particular focus on MEP issues.
- Work with client stakeholders and operational team to deliver MEP and general project solutions that support the operational model.
- Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to clients with a particular focus on MEP as required.
- Ensure implementation with project team the necessary project brief, company procedures and stated governance requirements.
- Approve the necessary process and procedures to ensure effective management of the project.
- Set out progress planning and initial project budgeting in conjunction with the contracts and construction teams.
- Analyse short and long term resource needs and adjust staffing and resource appropriately.
- Be aware of the risk that the individual is exposed to in their daily duties and minimise this exposure so far as is reasonably practicable
- Support and drive HSE performance where opportunity lies and set an exemplary personal standard at all times
- Assist in identifying hazards on the project and bring them to the attention of the contractor and the ECH HSE team
- Report all accidents, incidents and near misses immediately to the HSE team

Requirements

- Bachelor of Science in Engineering
- Significant experience around delivery of MEP works
- Report writing
- Sports Facility / Stadium Project experience advantageous
- Effective, multi-cultural, interpersonal communications
- Perception, commercial awareness and an ability to identify value for money solutions to problems
