Job description / Role
Leading International Developer requires experienced Project Manager for Major Residential/Villas Project - Erbil, Northern Iraq
Duties as Project Manager:
Plans, directs and coordinates construction activities of multiple projects from inception to completion.
Regularly checks progress and quality of construction on all projects for completion within the planned time frame .
Responsible for dealing with any delays that might happen on construction sites, emergencies or bad weather that may occur.
Scheduling and coordination all types of design during construction phase.
Overseeing the selection of trade contractors and determines the contract specifications and general conditions, i.e. standards of construction and payments.
Responsible for value engineering and cost solutions, as plans develop
Takes charge of bidding the jobs, by distributing documents to bidders, answers questions during bid process and issues bid agenda if needed to clarify details.
Requirements
Degree in Civil Engineering preferred.
Minimum of 15+ year’s experience in the construction of Residential villas and mixed developments.
Western Expat and Arab speakers will be preferred.
2 years Client Side project management exposure required.
Middle East experience an advantage.
