The RoleThe RoleProject Manager – Project Logistics Excellent job opportunity to join a multi-national freight forwarding & logistics services provider in their industrial projects division based in Dammam, Saudi Arabia My Client is looking to recruit a Project Manager for Industrial Projects based in Saudi Arabia. As Project Manager you will manage the operation of KSA’s Industrial Projects business as well as provide operational and business development expertise in all Industrial Project related business for which the company is responsible for. Accountabilities: •Representative of Company’s Industrial Projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia •Knowledge of the Transport & Logistics industry in Saudi Arabia (competition, Customs Clearance rules & regulation) •Business development (clients’ business sectors: Oil & Gas, Power, Infrastructure, Military, Refinery, Mining) •Oversee all Operations in KSA especially for awarded projects •Negotiations with suppliers (shipping lines, trucking companies for both normal and Heavy-lift/out of gauge cargo, airlines…) •Strategic planning to develop and maintain long-term partnership with customer. •Coordination between various company’s networks offices involved in the operation of relevant projects. •Hold regular meetings with customer to ensure maximum satisfaction. •Tenders and contracts preparation •Ensure accurate and timely invoicing / closing & reporting •Responsible for Monthly Industrial Project Reports and Pipeline Reporting •Client visits as and when required. Overseas business trips as and when required. |
RequirementsRequirementsSkills & Requirements: •Apprenticeship in the freight forwarding industry / university degree of equivalent•Minimum 3 years experience in the freight forwarding industry with project management or project management experience in oil & gas, construction or industrial projects. •Experience of the Saudi Industrial Projects market (ongoing projects, tenders etc…) would be a distinct advantage. •Sales experience and working knowledge of the international transportation and logistics industry preferred. •Familiarity with the financial aspects of the relevant local economy as well as international market conditions and trends, and international business issues, including currency factors and cultural differences |
