Job description / Role
Salary: up to 40 plus Family Package benefits
Based in the UAE, our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to head up the operations for Rail projects from initiation through to planning, tender and award and implementation stages.
Your key skills with budget, program and activities project management will be utilised in this challenging role as you will be responsible for managing all project payments, and variations as well as developing key relationships with contractor and sub-contractors. You role is instrumental in ensuring it moves forward following completion of all phases and ensuring that you drive towards meeting the deadlines required smoothly and quickly.
Along with the overall management to deliver the projects on time, you will also be responsible for reporting on the progress, and overseeing the contractual correspondence and attend regular meetings with the contractors and Engineers as well as implementing and developing high quality standards and testing procedures as well as inspection reporting.
Being able to demonstrate your initiative and conceptualise the project will assist in identifying issues in advance and problem solving without allowing significant impact to the overall project.
Requirements
Responsibilities in Include:
Management, planning and initiation of RFP preparation, prequalification, tender, and tender evaluation and awarding of the project.
Management of all budget and program requirements.
Establishing controls for all areas of the project.
Management and evaluation of contractors and sub-contractors.
Establish Risk management and contingency plans.
Claims and Variance Management.
Over view of procurement.
Management Reporting to the CEO and Chairman.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor Civil Engineering preferred Masters.
PMP Qualification.
Primavera and other related computer programs essential.
Minimum Experience:
8 Years Related Experience years.
Knowledge of international civil infrastructure architecture projects, function, systems and procedures.
Technically minded, analytical and able to turn theory into reality.
