Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

My client an international Consultancy are in the market for a Discipline Leader (m/f) Telecom/OCC - Supervision. For a High Speed Railway Project located in Saudi Arabia

Your tasks will be as follows:
- Telecom and OCC review, including technical specifications, drawings and other design documents along with Telecom and OCC experts
- Conducting site inspections and supervising Telecom and OCC related site activities
- Validation of the implication of international standards (TSI, TIA, EN, NFPA, OSI, EIRENE and MORANE) applicable to OCC and related Telecom Systems
- Implementation of best practices and industrial standards in design review and testing commissioning activities
- Reviewing and approving Testing and Commissioning processes including related documents
- Providing technical and team guidance, training staff on local legal provisions
- Verification of cost calculations
- Preparing progress/assessment/general reports for the management/client
- Attending progress meetings with client/contractor
- Supervising a system of tracking, documenting and reporting (installation delays, as-built documents, drawings, risks, safety and quality issues)

Requirements

- University degree (M. Sc. or B.Sc.) in Electrical or Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- At least 15 years professional experience and management responsibility in railway supervision projects, including Telecom, Signalling, Power etc. and their integration in OCC
- International work experience in implementing OCCs (either as a designer, engineer or integrator) and working knowledge in GSM-R-Signalling integration
- Practical experience in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), Building Management Systems (BMS), SCADA, Power SCADA and Telecommunication Systems
- Willingness to relocate to Saudi Arabia for at least two years
- Excellent English skills
- Effective communication, leadership qualities required
