The Automotive Division is currently embarking on an aggressive 5 years expansion plan.

Support the General Manager Network Development in managing projects by project coordination and admin support.

Responsibilities:

* Provide project management (including planning, monitoring, controlling and communication services, to support the successful implementation of new and refurbishing projects related to facilities of the Automotive Division.
* Attendance at project planning meetings and updating Stakeholders of project progress, resolving issues, reverting to Consultant and Business
* Monitor and compare with the planned progress to ensure quality, organizational alignment, budget, and project deliverables are on target.
* Define and agree project objectives with Automotive key stakeholders/Project Sponsor then communicate with the project team to establish this vision of what will constitute successful accomplishment of the project objective.
* Develop or provide direction for developing communication plan to ensure executive management and stakeholders receive adequate communication throughout the project and are kept informed of critical path progress and variances from plan, while building a collaborative environment for stakeholders.
* Ensure adherence to project governance and quality standards
* Provide communication between stakeholder and consultants on project progress, issues and actions required on a weekly basis and in report format for weekly review with network development director
* Provide support to operations on matters pertaining to repairs, maintenance and refurbishments, in order to maintain standards of operation.
* Ensure that only approved finishes and materials are used as per the project guidelines and brand corporate identity
* Prepare various tender related documents for concept and detail design, or preliminary, final design and construction stages
* Play a key role in coordinating with client/ consultant regarding progress against project program and timelines.

Job Context

* Maintain communication between stakeholder and consultants on project progress, issues and actions required on a weekly basis and provide report for weekly review with Network Development Director
* Provide support to operations on matters pertaining to repairs, maintenance and refurbishments, in order to maintain standards of operation
* Play a key role in the facilitation of communicating project planning data between all parties, and adherence to timelines.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations which usually requires tact, diplomacy, and discretion.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:  University Degree in Civil Engineering or Architect;

Minimum Experience: 5 yrs project management in construction/automotive industry related.

Job-Specific Skills: Project planning, conversant with design drawings, Word, Excel and Microsoft project planning software system.

Behavioural Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with a wide range of individuals in a wide range of situations which usually requires tact, diplomacy and discretion
