Job description / Role
Our client, leading insurance broker and risk advisor.
Objective: Responsible for managing and coordinating complex new business and defensive bids,reviews,RFP’s,tenders. Producing high quality reports, literature and presentations to aid sales and retention. Working to deadlines and delivering within required timescales.
Main responsibilities: Define and scope projects – outputs, timescales, resources and methodology.
Delegating tasks across the bid / review team.
Production of quality reports and presentations within agreed timeframes.
Working to project management timelines and disciplines.
Managing broking and programme design input with Placement Leaders.
Meeting with prospects to understand rationale for bid/review.
Working closely with proposed client service team on deliverables.
Ensuring adequate time allowed for presentation rehearsals.
Reporting to: Direct: Risk Management Practice Leader
Requirements
University qualifications : Bachelor’s degree graduate
Previous experience : 7-10 years experience as Project Manager-Risk Management.
Other Skills : Knowledge and understanding of relevant insurers, third party service providers and
their products. Awareness of competitors including their strengths and weaknesses.
In depth understanding of the client’s industry sector, including for example, potential
implications of events in the news, ability to identify key risks, using knowledge to
challenge bid/review team responses.
Able to handle a variety of assignments simultaneously.
Language Skills : Good command of oral and written English
