Project Manager (Subsea)

We are currently working with a major EPCIC Contractor who is seeking an experienced Subsea Project Manager for a joint venture with a large Indian Group.

The job description for this role includes:
• Full responsibility of the management of all phases of a project.
• Being responsible for the financial and technical success of the project.
• Managing the project to meet cost, schedule, safety, quality and contractual requirements to the satisfaction of the internal and external customers.
• The review and approval of project expenditures, costs, estimates, budgets, financial forecasts and project schedules.
• Identifying and solving a range of project problems/issues.
• Managing, planning, organising, coordinating and controlling the project in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems and requirements.
• Managing relationships with internal and external customers. Acting as focal point with Client.
• Negotiating with internal and external customers to achieve project goals especially with changes to project work scope, contract price and schedule.
• Direct project execution through project team members.
• Liaising and coordinating with Project Construction Managers, Project Engineering Manager, Project Procurement Manager, Project HSE Manager, Project Quality Manager, Project Commercial Manager, Sub-contractors, Site Engineers and Project Engineers.
• Identifying, tracking and managing all changes in the scope of work, schedule and execution methodology on the project and that all changes to be captured through cost control system ‘CHEOPS’.
• Plan, direct and lead the engineering, procurement and construction efforts and formulate the most cost-effective plan to timely completion within budget.
• Being responsible for the development, approval and implementation of Project Execution Plan, Project Set-Up and Project Close-out.
• Ensuring that lessons learned are implemented by the Project Team and the lessons learned on the project are documented in the data base ‘CURA’.
• Hook-up the preparation and coordination with discipline hook-up Engineers.
• The pre-commissioning and Mechanical completion of platform.

Requirements


Requirements


It is essential that the suitable candidate has at least 14 years working experience, including experience in pipelay barge, SPM and subsea projects. The right candidate will also hold an engineering degree.
