The RoleThe RoleA leading consultancy is looking to recruit three experienced Project Managers to operate across multiple power projects here in Oman. This position will report directly to the General Manager. EXPERIENCE: • Has considerable Project Management experience in 220 KV Transmission System Substations and overhead lines. • Has a proven track record of managing similar sized projects OMR 30 mill plus • Ability to drill down into the operational detail and drive the best utilisation of man, material & machine. • Skilled in identifying opportunities for improvement across multiple projects. |
RequirementsRequirementsThe successful incumbent will be responsible for partnering with the General Manager in growing the business aggressively for future long-term success. • öA degree qualified Engineer; • Additional PMP or Chartered certification would be highly regarded • Capable of working across large projects with a broad scope. Ability to handle ambiguity and adapt to the changing nature of their role as the project unfolds, whilst maintaining the drive & keeping the overall objectives in sight. • Comfortable influencing across all levels of the business. Experienced in communicating with multicultural teams and comfortable interacting at all levels; Senior Management to Labourers. • Enthusiastic about bringing a paradigm shift in people awareness and in their use of resources. Changing individual behaviours and sustaining new ones. • Very high integrity when making commitments to deliver projects. • A well rounded, seasoned professional with international experience. • An individual with in-depth experience in technical, legal and business portfolios. • Self starter, who is very passionate about playing a critical role in growing an international business. • A leader of people, who is truly passionate about best practice & project execution.
