Project Manager - Tunnels

Job description / Role

The Project Manager is required to coordinate and manage all aspects of the site project finance system, the site office administration and the project construction administration.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- To undertake the co-ordination of design team and construction contractors.
- To manage and conduct value management exercises.
- To manage a gates process throughout the full life cycle of the project.
- To coordinate the design elements that provide design information for work packages for construction works.
- To identify the documentation necessary for the creation of each work package.
- Ensure all work scope packages are aligned to the Design Brief requirements.
- To attend design co-ordination meetings.
- To manage all actions and issues within the design team functions.
- Ensure all construction works are delivered timely.
- Lead resolutions/proactively at all construction related impact issues.
- Gates management reports to the satisfaction of the Senior Management Team.
- Value management reports to the satisfaction of the Senior Management Team.
- Work package scope contents to the satisfaction of the Senior Management Team.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS
- 20 Years in Operations and Maintenance of Tunnels.
- B.Sc In Civil Engineering.

KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE
- Previous Experience on major Tunnel Maintenance Projects.
- Thoroughness Attention to Detail.
- Team Player.
- Responsive To New and Innovative Approaches.
- Effective Communication.
- Practice Problem Solver.

TECHNICAL SKILLS / ABILITY
- Broad design and construction knowledge of rigor roads projects.
- Full understanding of a structured design process and its application.
