Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

1.To manage delivery of assigned projects throughout the lifecycle - Initiation, planning, execution, monitoring , control and closure. Instrumental in successful implementation of Strategic plan of the Bank in close liaison with other Internal teams on implementation.
2.To maintain effective working relationship with business departments, IT, stakeholders and ensure delivery of project(s) in accordance with approved plans
3.To initiate change management process in WBG to enable product development, changes in process flows suggest appropriate automation as relevant for Corporate banking, SME banking and other user departments within WBG.
4.To Prepare, review, finalization and maintenance of project documentation, statement of work, policy documentation of WBG and assigned projects/initiatives.
5.To supervise the day to day activities in the assigned projects and team management.
6.Reporting of project status to the Head of the department(s),as per the defined process & formats. Participating in Vendors’/suppliers’ evaluation, selection, follow up.
7.To Ensure sign off/completion of the relevant project documentation including requirements and solution approaches within the set timelines
8.To Prepare strategy and plan documents as relevant for WBG projects and ensure functional coverage based on the bank requirements and prevalent regulatory guidelines.
9.To lead and participate in the user awareness and training sessions and conduct periodical meetings with relevant stakeholders on various new/assigned initiatives
10.To track, monitor and ensure resolution of issues and coordination with support teams and responsible for appropriate escalations wherever required.
11.To ensure adherence to bank’s information security policies and other guidelines, policies and processes
12.To extend Second level support for assigned initiatives/tasks and adherence to defined SLAs/timelines.
13.To study and prepare reports on the impact of each project on business or processes at regular intervals and review the scope of each project.
14.Any other responsibilities as assigned by Head-WBG.

Requirements

•Degree or higher qualification in Banking/Accountancy.
•10-12 years experience in Banking industry with special focus on Corporate lending, Credit assessment, Credit Administration skill sets. Knowledge about various banking products, structure, pricing etc. Good exposure/hand on experience in Banking related projects implementation. Knowledge in Banking related IT systems (Finacle, Moody’s etc.) is essential.
•Desirable: Knowledge on Risk Management, Treasury & Investment Banking
