Project Manager - eCommerce - Kuwait

eCommerce is an exciting new support function within Alshaya as the business launches transactional websites for a number of the 70+ brands and 19 countries within the Alshaya portfolio. The function is rapidly building Alshaya's multi-channel capability to deliver customers' choice and convenience when shopping in a number of rapidly growing online emerging markets. The function is split in to 4 key areas - Trading & Merchandising, Operations & Program Management, Design & Content and Digital Marketing.

The Role:
The eCommerce Project Manager will manage and deliver a number of multi-channel projects. You will be focused on ensuring that solutions are delivered on time, to cost & quality expectations. You will ensure that all your team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively, and provide them with constructive feedback as it pertains to project performance. You will also manage senior business stakeholders and build relationships with sponsors/stakeholders to facilitate a partnership approach and to engender open communications.

Other responsibilities will include:
* Managing projects within eCommerce from concept to completion in accordance with Company Policy & agreed objectives
* Managing the process of project estimation, and establishing and maintaining processes to manage scope, time, cost, quality, communication, performance and risk
* Defining specific projects in terms on business requirements in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders, translating these into project objectives and plans
* Facilitating meetings effectively to support delivery of project objectives
* Managing and mitigating end-to-end delivery and business risk through continual quality assurance and review of project scope, solutions, plans, governance, risk/issues, resources, ROI and 3rd party suppliers
* Developing and tracking integrated project plans and documentation to ensure project objectives and stakeholder business drivers are met
* Managing dependencies with other projects and on business stakeholders and teams
* Managing key 3rd party supplier relationships on a commercial and delivery level for packages and services required to deliver and support projects
* Communicating effectively with all parties to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
* Managing the change process for new & existing solutions across the eCommerce division.

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in eCommerce/Multi-channel project management experience
* Project Management Professional Qualifications (either PMP or Prince)
* Experience of various web platforms & capability
* Experience of delivering front end websites fully integrated into back-end systems
* Proven track record of working in matrix management across the full spectrum of support functions including IT, Logistics / supply-chain, retail operations, customer services and finance
* Experience in start-up and or new market launches (International experience would be an advantage)
* Good understanding of IT technical infrastructures & interfaces
* Excellent written and verbal English communication.
