Job description / Role
Our company seeks candidates for an expected USG project aimed at Monitoring and Evaluation systems in Afghanistan. The overall objective of the project is to develop and implement a system that will enable the mission to effectively use performance information in decision-making and fulfill its performance monitoring, evaluation, reporting and information dissemination requirements across its group of activities. This position will be based in Afghanistan.
Requirements
The Project Manager (PM) shall be responsible for the overall management and implementation of the task order and report directly to the USG Contractor Officer’s Representative. S/he shall supervise project implementation and ensure that the project meets stated goals and reporting requirements. The Project Manager is also responsible for overall cost and budget management, oversight of technical work and compliance with the conditions of the task order, including sub-awards. The PM will confer regularly with USG management on strategy in order to maximize impact, effectiveness and sustainability.
•Additional requirements include 10 years international development experience; and at least 3 years of experience in conflict or post-conflict environments.
•Academic Degree: Minimum of BS/BA related to work being performed or equivalent
•Must be proficient in English speaking, reading and writing skills.
