Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

- Project management of IT projects to agreed standards and methodology ensuring that projects deliver the expected benefits to time, quality and costs. Including the maintenance of all project documentation, project plans and risk and issues logs, reporting requirements to IT and business management and cost and benefits are closely tracked.
- Working closely with the software development team.
- Managing software development / application development projects that are focused on Finance / eCommerce / Payment/ web / online / Digital and / or Mobile projects to time and budget.
- Creating Business Cases for new technologies / projects that should be implemented to help the company achieve it's goals of a better Customer Experience, and maintaining pace with competition. - Deliver projects to agreed methodologies and standards.
- Initiate and maintain project plans ensuring that all the details are accurate and up to date.
- Maintain all project documentation.
- Facilitate team and user meetings.
- Highlight and actively engage all project stakeholders and maintain close and ongoing relationships with key stakeholder through the life of the projects.
- Build and maintain RAIDs logs (Risk, assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) prioritizing and building mitigation plan to minimize impact and escalating business critical issues in a timely manner.
- Construct, gain approval and manage the project budget. Take responsibility for project account tracking and ensure the project is delivered within the allocated budget.
- Build and track resource and financial plans for projects.
- Maintain project reporting and provide highlight reports.
- Responsible for effective project communication within the projects and to all stakeholders.
- Undertake lessons learnt session on project closure and factor learning in to continuous improvement process.
- Communicate and work with a wide audience from executive to customer facing staff as projects demand.

Requirements

- At least 3-6 years experience in successfully delivering multiple concurrent software projects being involved in the full software lifecycle
- Previous experience in a software development house is an advantage
- Experience delivering web based applications and solutions, with ability to identify process and functional improvements and gather outline requirements is an advantage
- Strong communication skills in order to collaborate and engage with a key stakeholders at each stage of the process.
- Proven experience of project management, Agile and Waterfall methodology
- Comfort in operating in highly fluid environments, under pressure.
- An ability to work under broad direction, with a high level of self-initiation.
