Job description / Role
The Project Manager:
- Internally guides engagement/project teams to achieve desired goals including timelines, process, budget, quality, resource and risk management, customer satisfaction; he/she also assists BDM in defining project scope, including setting performance targets, project management and execution plan, cost estimates, and other issues both during and after the business development process.
- Externally works with customers, that can be very different in size from small to large multinational corporations, in different strategic targeted industries (e.g., Oil & Gas, Transportation, Manufacturing, large governmental clients, etc.),
Ensuring that for each assigned project, the team and the client have common perceptions on above items and assists clients further in creating or improving business and organizational managing procedures and processes to improve performance in the targeted practice areas;
Requirements
Education/Experience/ technical competencies:
• BS/BA or equivalent, MBA or MS preferred
• 4 to 6 years DuPont (or similar) manufacturing, operations, or consulting experience in industries such as durable goods, heavy manufacturing (automobiles, aircraft), oil and gas, pipelines, utilities, railroads, airlines or retailers
• Experience leading professional services engagements and projects, managing financial performance and project quality and in customer facing roles
• Extensive knowledge and use of all relevant IT systems, applications and tools, and project planning software, consulting methods (e.g. strategic change, organization change, process reengineering) and Project management certification (e.g., CAPM or PMP strongly preferred)
• Ability to travel extensively up to 80 % of monthly time
• Fluency in both written and spoken English & Arabic a must
