Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

To ensure the effective management of the contract to deliver all of the required works under the General Engineering Consultancy Services for Contract 2, Area 3. To be responsible for delivery to programme and cost ensuring safety at all times.

Roles and responsibilities:
- To manage the completion of all tasks as required by the contract.
- Liaise with and report to the PWA / PMC on a regular basis, providing advice and assistance as required.
- First point of contact for liaison with representative from PMC / PWA.
- Contract Administration.
- Day to day management of the design teams.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of project designs and records.
- Prepare and issue regular reports to the PMC pertaining to all aspects of the design activities.
- Prepare and issue Close Out Report.

Relationships:
- Work closely with the project director to ensure all tasks within the programme are resourced and completed in a timely manner.
- Liaise with counterparts from the PMC and other GECs to ensure consistent standards and delivery methods are applied across the GEC frameworks.
- Work with the design managers and project managers to ensure delivery of all the tasks achieve a consistent high quality and meet Ashghal standards and approval processes.
- Help manage stakeholders and mitigate issues that may affect the delivery of projects.

-Knowledge of recognised project control principles (procurement, earned value measurement, risk management, contract admin and claims resolution, change control)
- Knowledge of the principal major forms of contract
- Ability to prepare and present verbally
