Employment: Full Time

Project Manager - Lighting
Salary: up to AED 23,000 based on experience
Location: Dubai

Our client is a British manufacturer with international infrastructure and building on 30 years experience as a retail lighting specialists.
They are specialists in how to tell a brands story through light and provide retail customers a vibrant, entertaining shopping experience.
With a presence in more than 70 countries, they have successfully channeled their knowledge and experience into lighting schemes for several highly respected brands.
Their markets include sectors in hospitality, leisure and commercial applications.

Key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

Effectively manage and provide high level of support on delivering lighting part of the projects.
Ensure and execute that all the lighting aims of the project are met.
Spend time on site to make sure the lights are installed correctly and to assist and liaise with contractors.
Responsibilities can cover all aspects from the lighting design stage through to completion and handover to the client.
Ensure all relevant information pertaining to projects is appropriately documented for future reference.
Daily responsibilities are squarely centered on responsive handling of our customers needs in an efficient, courteous and professional manner - including order processing with sales support team, order follow-up and expediting, along with a combination of both vendor and client contact.
Liaising the various professional people working on a project (i.e brand managers, MEP contractors, subcontractors etc).
Review the project schedule with the KAMs, managers and other staff that will be affected by the project activities to ensure deadlines are met.
Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustment as necessary to ensure successful completion.
Required to travel throughout the MENA region.
You are expected to make key contributions to our success by working on special projects that will be identified by the management.
Ensure an effective diary and time management system is being maintained at all time.
Recommend to the company ideas that are consistent with the regions overall Strategic Objective including improved systems, policies, and procedures.
Undertake such other duties within the scope, purpose and title of the job, which may reasonably be requested by your manager or other directors.
You will be supported by the sales, internal support, design, engineering and marketing team.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Architectural engineering or marketing or equivalent.
A minimum of 5 years post graduate experience.
Minimum of 3 years experience in the lighting field would be an advantage.
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English.
Good level of IT skills in MS office etc.
Good understanding of architectural drawings.
