Job description / Role
The Project Manager is responsible for the successful completion of small to medium size projects or projects of low complexity.
• Receives a project assignment from the COO in the proposal stage.
• Participates in preparing the proposal with the Business Development Team in conjunction with the Heads of Departments.
• Participates in the preparation of the contractual agreement with the Client.
• Must be capable and experienced, with authority to speak for the firm in dealing with the client and to direct and expedite the work.
• Manages the Client's expectation.
• Maintains close contact, develop and foster with the present and potential client during the project and strives for client satisfaction
• Prepares and manages all the correspondences with the client, sub-consultants and specialists
• Carries out the contract administration of sub-consultancy contracts.
• Prepares and maintains proper project filling, document storage management and communication procedures in accordance with firm's procedures.
• Accountable for written work submitted to the client.
• Prepares the Project Budget for Director’s approval.
• Provides accurate indications of percentage work completed
Requirements
Bachelor degree in Engineering, Architecture, Engineering Management or Project Management.
Minimum of ten (10) years experience in design and/or design management, including a minimum of 3 years experience in project design management.
A working knowledge of project management software is highly desired.
