Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Direct and manage project development from beginning to end
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders
• Managing the project teams during the project phase
• Managing the project risk
• Managing the project budget during the business requirements and implementations
• Develop full-scale project plans along with other project managers and associated communications documents.
• Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals
• Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during project cycle
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Manage project resource allocation, monitoring of project scope and monitoring quality procedures
• Track project milestones and deliverables and effectively communicate status to the project manager and stakeholders
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Ensure that each project complies with local regulations and the bank’s policies and procedures
• Support the Retail Projects Department in reengineering processes based on best practice.
• To interact with the IT project office and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of deliverables
• Bring projects to closure with all data and records in place including tracking of lessons learnt.
• Ensure end users are trained on every new product, service and enhancement launched
• Ensure product owners provide the necessary support and resources (including human resources) required to complete the project.
• Coach, mentor, motivate and supervise project team members, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project.
• Negotiate contracts with third parties; consultants, vendors and service providers.
• Report and monitor problems arising during the project using critical thinking

Requirements

• University degree holder with two years of Project Management experience
• Project management knowledge/background
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English and Arabic
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Persuasion skills
• Motivated, initiative, innovative and dynamic
• Problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Excellent knowledge of MS office
• Basic knowledge of MS Project and or other project management tools
• Solid knowledge of current banking practices
• Ability to read WBS charts and to transform project plans to project specifications
• Flexible during times of change.
• Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.
• The candidate should be able to translate customers’ requirements into easy to use deliverables
• Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial.
